TURBO PILETM Description
Grouted Foundation Systems (GFS) Patented Micro Pile System, TURBO PILETM is the only continuously grouted steel core pile in the industry. It was developed after exhaustive research and development to provide a cost effective and efficient alternative to existing systems. TURBO PILETM is the only pile or pier on the market that is pressure grouted continuously throughout the entire installation process. This continuously injected grout increases the density of the surrounding loose soils as they are compacted together to form a bond to the steel shaft thus preventing structural settlement.

Grout is pumped through the core of the steel shaft and exits through the bottom of the lead section of pipe through patented holes on the trailing edge of the helixes. The patented combination and layout of helixes and grout ports allows for significant compaction of the grout and surrounding soils. The grout then returns to the surface alongside the outside of the steel shaft. This process allows all of our foundation products to achieve greater strength and greatly increased soil bearing capacity even in poor soil conditions. We can vary the diameter of either the helixes and/or the shafts to achieve greatly increased capacities over the standard 12” helixes, regardless of soil conditions.
The TURBO PILETM can be installed in highly restricted areas, even in close proximity to existing structures with minimal if any disruption to the surrounding environment. TURBO PILETM meets or exceeds many requirements in any type of Residential, Commercial, or Industrial applications.
